Dear Friends and Colleagues,

After so many years of carrying our message and campaigning around the world, our flagship the Rainbow Warrior II will end her great years of service to our cause and enter a new phase of her eventful life.

Tomorrow August 16 at 4pm Singapore time, the Rainbow Warrior will be handed over to the organisation Friendship, a Bangladesh based NGO which specialises in medical care and emergency relief. The Rainbow Warrior will be renamed "Rongdhonu", Bengali for Rainbow. The ship will be refitted for use as a hospital ship and she will serve the coastal belt of Bangladesh and the Bay of Bengal, delivering primary and secondary medical assistance to some of the most vulnerable communities of the world. The Rongdhonu will also serve as an emergency medical ship around the region, enabling Friendship to bring medical aid to those areas which are already experiencing the effects of climate change

When we look back at the Cree Indian prophecy from which the Rainbow Warrior took her name, it is fitting that her next task will also be one of healing: “There will come a time when the Earth grows sick and when it does a tribe will gather from all cultures of the world who believe in deeds and not words. They will work to heal it…they will be known as “Warriors of the Rainbow”.

The Rongdhonu will carry on this proud tradition as she brings healthcare and emergency relief to communities which have no access to dependable health care.

Even though the ship will have a new name and a new mission, we will hold true to our principles when it comes to what happens to the ship when its useful life is over. That is why we have taken great care in our contract with Friendship that when the time comes for the Rongdhonu to be scrapped, that this will be done to the highest environmental standards and that we will provide financial assistance to make sure this happens. We also have the right of approval of any potential future owners to ensure that the commitment to these standards will be kept and that the ship would end her life in the manner she has advocated for us for so many years.

It is time for us to say farewell to the Rainbow Warrior and to wish the Rongdhonu well on the next steps of her mission. I hope that as many of as possible from around the Greenpeace world will join the ceremony through a live webcast to witness this historic moment:

Thank you to everyone who left messages on the website about the Rainbow Warrior II - your memories and best wishes have been printed on banners to be flown on the ship during the handover ceremony. Following the handover, the banners will be removed and then stored on the Rainbow Warrior III and will travel with her.

Some of us have clearly defined ideologies, others are apolitical, but we are all concerned and angry about the political, economic, and social outlook which we see around us: corruption among politicians, businessmen, bankers, leaving us helpless, without a voice.

This situation has become normal, a daily suffering, without hope. But if we join forces, we can change it. It’s time to change things, time to build a better society together. Therefore, we strongly argue that:

The priorities of any advanced society must be equality, progress, solidarity, freedom of culture, sustainability and development, welfare and people’s happiness.

These are inalienable truths that we should abide by in our society: the right to housing, employment, culture, health, education, political participation, free personal development, and consumer rights for a healthy and happy life.

The current status of our government and economic system does not take care of these rights, and in many ways is an obstacle to human progress.

Democracy belongs to the people (demos = people, krátos = government) which means that government is made of every one of us. However, in Spain most of the political class does not even listen to us. Politicians should be bringing our voice to the institutions, facilitating the political participation of citizens through direct channels that provide the greatest benefit to the wider society, not to get rich and prosper at our expense, attending only to the dictatorship of major economic powers and holding them in power through a bipartidism headed by the immovable acronym PP & PSOE.

Lust for power and its accumulation in only a few; create inequality, tension and injustice, which leads to violence, which we reject. The obsolete and unnatural economic model fuels the social machinery in a growing spiral that consumes itself by enriching a few and sends into poverty the rest. Until the collapse.

The will and purpose of the current system is the accumulation of money, not regarding efficiency and the welfare of society. Wasting resources, destroying the planet, creating unemployment and unhappy consumers.

Citizens are the gears of a machine designed to enrich a minority which does not regard our needs. We are anonymous, but without us none of this would exist, because we move the world.

If as a society we learn to not trust our future to an abstract economy, which never returns benefits for the most, we can eliminate the abuse that we are all suffering.
We need an ethical revolution. Instead of placing money above human beings, we shall put it back to our service. We are people, not products. I am not a product of what I buy, why I buy and who I buy from.

PCB is working as the drive jus has some defective sectors and i still was able to write and read on to the drive

The HP 14” notebook nc6400 is a professional environment oriented laptop, not a general consuming product, it is pretty rugged, it is a monolithic piece of technology, without shinnys colosr or extremely luminescent LEDs; not too big not too heavy, not too small, with a 1280x800 mate screen (no gloss). This screen resolution allows me to use it without my glaces.

The original hardware available with this laptop launched at the end of 2006 was :

**CPU Core2duo T5600 1,83ghz 2MB L2 with a TDP of 37W (no Ultra Low Voltage)

**RAM 512MB to 2GB of PC2-5300 DDR2-667 (he FSB is a quad pomped 167mhz FSB so a theoretical of 667 mhz)

**Graphics card The ATI Radeon X1300 with 64MB(mine) or 128MB of dedicated memory or the Intel GMA 950 integrated to the mobile Calistoga i945 chipset. Obviously the Intel solution is cheaper but it sucks. Even Counter Strike 1.5 or quake III will lag in this graphics solution.

**Hard Drive 80GB(mine) to 160GB available choices all running @ 5400 RPM and with 8MB cache

**Avalaible choice for optical drive CD/DVD reader or CD burner/DVD(mine) reader or CD/DVD Burner

**UMTS/ CDSMA mobile broadband modem



I updraded mine with:

**Ultra Low Voltage Core2 duo L7400 CPU 1,5ghz, 4MB L2, 17w TDP

**320GB Seagate 16MB cache, 7200RPM, Gsensor for drop detection and protection

**4 GB of RAM with 2x2GB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 sticks from kingstom

**High Capacity 9 cell Li Ion Battery

This upgraded hp nc6400 gives my 6+ hours of battery life (the 9cells+the 6cells batt) using wifi, i can play HL², Zombie Driver, Supremme Comander, The laptop perform better as many 2010 laptops, this is due t o the very fast HDD and a clean windows 7 64 bits install with the 4GB RAM sticks.

Also the L7400 is 300mhz lower clock then the original T5600 but it has the double amount of L2 cache "4MB" and on syntetics tests it perform pretty like the T5600 while heating and using less power :D

before all this i managed to get new mainboard and LCD panel from HP onsite warranty, and a DVD burner as replacement of the combo CD-R/DVD reader :D yeah !

In The ABC Serie Flashforward saison One i dont remember the episode
FAiL pluging HDD into docking Station.

As you can see electroniques and SATA connectors are upside while docking station connectors are downside. that can't works i have others pictures were you can see they corrected actor's mistake.

If you have windows XP SP3, and you are not able to update your system through Windows Update webpage, getting an error 0x00.... (i dont now exactly sorry). And them:
The BITS service (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) and
the Automatic Updates service
Are configured in Automatic starup type, but they can't start even if you push the stard bouton. Getting an error message saying that there is a problem with the logon account or the root certificates and talking about dependencies. and telling you to look at the windows event log console.

Them looking at the event logging you has this 2 messages :

Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number from: with error: A connection with the server could not be established

Failed auto update retrieval of third-party root list sequence number from: with error: This network connection does not exist.

You can, to solve this problem, create a command file, with the following text:

So to do this open notepad copy & paste this commands, and save the file as a BAT command file, not a text file of course. Them juste double click the file with an administrator user account. you will see a command windows with all the commands beeing executed.
